Postcards and Greetings Cards

After the introduction of cards at the 2023 Roydon Art Exhibition, the sale of artists'  Greetings Cards and/or Postcards of Artists’ is now established. We have invested in display stands which will be placed at various locations around the exhibition.

Having considered the logistics of postcard sales, we have had to set out some terms and conditions to make the whole enterprise work as smoothly as possible whilst fitting in with the systems we already have in place.

Please read the following carefully.

Artists may submit a maximum of 50 cards in multiples of 10) They can be different sizes and we will, space permitting, separate them into individual shelves on the display unit(s).

If greetings cards are being offered with an envelope, both card and envelope must be in a clear sleeve.

All cards must clearly show the artist’s name, printed on the back (not just a partly legible signature on the picture itself).

All cards must carry a price sticker on the top right of each card. Low-tack dot stickers are available from most stationers.

Artists will be charged a handling fee of £1:00 per 10 cards. There will be a 10% commission on cards sold.

You must complete the Card Entry form. (Click here)

Hand your cards in on Friday to Geoff Preston or Ian Greig only who will record them, take the entry fee and give you a receipt.

When you return on Monday evening, hand your receipt at the Buyers' Desk where you will receive your unsold cards. You will receive payment as per picture sales.
